Postcards From a Founder Project
Being a founder is life changing.
Starting a business, juggling a side hustle, or founding a project close to your heart are some of the most fulfilling pursuits you can do in life. It's liberating to break the mould, go against the grain, and do something you genuinely believe in.
Blazing your trail can also be incredibly lonely. A founder's journey is often walked alone, punctuated by milestones of trial and error, success and failure, in a constant cycle of learning and growing, rinsing and repeating.
And oh, don't we love it so!
Postcards From A Founder is a collaborative art project with an enterprise twist. Stories and snippets of business-themed wisdom are shared on the back of postcards.
Your adventure as a founder, your white-knuckle rollercoaster ride of an experience, is precisely what I'd love you to share with us to inspire others walking a similar path.
What has kept you going during times of doubt? What aha moment was your "I can do anything!" awakening? What wisdom would you share with others? What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

I created the project after searching for support on my entrepreneurial journey. I believe creating a community of founders cheering each other on through supportive stories, quotes, and tales from their own experiences written onto postcards fosters empathy, understanding, and resilience, as no founder is ever alone. A collective of founders is waving those poms-poms and rooting you on from all corners of the globe. You just don’t know it yet.

You can submit a postcard digitally or through the post. If you would like to submit your postcard digitally, please use the form below. Simply enter the details and you’re postcard will be submitted to the project (and do remember to keep an eye out for it on social media!)
Alternatively, please submit your request for a Postcard Pack using this link and I’ll send you a pack in the post. Once you receive your postcard, add your micro story, quote, or tale of a moment that mattered to you and send it back to the address. Other than the warm, fuzzy feeling of helping others, every founder who submits a postcard will be invited to our in-person events launching in 2025.
These events aim to bring together and unite founders. Think of it as networking with a difference: learning and support from other founders, guest speakers with masterclass magic, great food and fabulous drinks, and the opportunity to see and read all the postcards up close and in person, discovering the stories and snippets of wisdom they share. These events are designed to uplift founders whatever their business, industry or size, through support, learning, and, above all, encouragement and empowerment. We’re here to act as the cheerleading crew you didn't know you had (but need), shaking our pompoms and letting you know that you can achieve anything, when you have the right information, a pand support.

Yes, it’s completely free. There is no cost to get involved. It’s just one of those rare and nice things. All I ask is for you to complete a postcard and return it to me, digitally or via the post. I believe creating a community of founders cheering each other on through supportive stories, quotes, and tales from their own experiences written onto postcards fosters empathy, understanding, and resilience, as no founder is ever alone.
